Lynn Valley Strong

We can’t begin to describe the emotions we have been feeling throughout this time since the tragic incident on March 27th. Our team is heartbroken. We’re often wandering the village grabbing a coffee at Delany’s or lunch at Browns for our break. Many of us catch the bus or wander through for a breath of fresh air. By a stroke of luck all our team members were inside Zazou and remained safe.

This is a community we have been proud to be a part of for the last 30 years. We continue to be proud of our community for the heroic actions taken by the bystanders and witnesses. By the first responders and police force. By the local shop owners and employees who stepped up to help the injured. Our hearts go out to the victims and those affected by this senseless act. The outpouring of love and support has truly been incredible and it goes to show just how tight knit our community of Lynn Valley is.

A candlelight vigil hosted by the Lynn Valley Lions Club, the Lynn Valley Legion Branch 114 and the support of the District of North Vancouver was an event hosted (with covid safety protocols) to allow our community to safely express our solidarity and strength within our beautiful Lynn Canyon on Saturday, April 3rd in support of all those affected by the tragic event.
