Our curriculum includes both precision and creative cutting, a wide range of styling techniques, advanced colouring and chemical texture services.

Academy Curriculum

Term One (1 month) – Styling & Treatments – Cost: $300

• Extensive training in Guest Experience, with the intent of giving a five-star guest experience
• Product knowledge for all the products that we carry through live education and Learn Dash remote learning
• Technical training in Styling, Treatments and Apprenticing

Selected outside/off site education fees are complementary during apprenticeship. Note: Amount due if withdraw/release from program.

Term Two (3-4 months) – Cutting – Cost: $1000

8 Comprehensive Cutting Classes:

• Cutting Theory 101
• A-Line with Layers
• Long Layers
• Graduation and Bobs
• Men’s Cuts
• Short Women’s Cuts
• Special Event Styling

Hands on experience of becoming a Junior Stylist on the floor within 6 months
Selected outside/off site education fees are complementary during apprenticeship. Note: Amount due if withdraw/release from program.

Term Three – Colour (3 – 4 months) – Cost: $1000

8 Comprehensive Colour Classes:

• Essential Colour Theory
• Hair Colour Theory
• Regrowth Colour
• Grey Coverage
• All Over Colour
• Blonding Basics
• Advanced Blonding
• Colour in Between Foils

Hands on experience of working as a Personal Assistant to a Master Stylist with extensive training in Mentorship, within 6 months. Selected outside/off site education fees are complementary during apprenticeship. Note: Amount due if withdraw/release from program.

Term Four – Advanced Colour & Chemical Services (3 – 4 months) – Cost: $600

6 Comprehensive Advanced Technique Classes:

• Creative Colour and Foiling Placements
• Bleach Outs
• Balayage and Foiliage
• Tintbacks
• Smoothing Treatments
• Perms

ITA Registration with all Apprentice and Academy hours logged
Training in relation and preparation of the Red Seal Certification Exams
