Nicole
Nicole has just Graduated McGill University and is now a part of our concierge team here at Zazou!
She is obsessed with the Volumising Root Booster from La Biosthetique for the way it makes her hair look.
If Nicole isn’t caring for her family’s five pets, you can find her colouring while watching an episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer or the X-Files.
Nicole is a Taurus and is known for her calm demeanor and organization.
Hailey
Hailey, named after a rare comet, was born in Alberta and raised in Chilliwack, BC. She moved to North Vancouver in 2020 to attend Capilano University. She has fallen in love with the community and beauty in North Vancouver so much that since then, she has made it her permanent home.
Hailey has a passion for people. It brightens her spirit to make a difference in someone’s day. Whether that means making them laugh with a witty comment, or connecting with just a simple conversation about their day. Hailey has over 10 years of experience working in customer service.
When she’s not at work, Hailey’s favourite place to be is sitting on the beach watching the waves.
Since working at Zazou, Hailey has learned so much about hair care and products that enhance her hair journey. Hailey’s go-to product is “Gloss Me” shampoo and hair oil by Design Me.
Jaya
Jaya has recently graduated from Capilano University and is excited to be apart of the Zazou team as a concierge!
Jaya enjoys travelling, however, when she’s home in Vancouver she loves skiing in the winter and paddleboarding in the summer.
In typical Gemini fashion, she loves travelling to new places and trying new things.
Brooklyn
Brooklyn is a student at BCIT for Marketing Management and one of our Lonsdale Concierge. She plans to attend Zazou’s Academy for hairstyling in the future!
Brooklyn loves how the Structure Repair Nourishing Mask by La Biosthetique could help repair her damaged and long hair, and leave her with gorgeous, mended hair.
Brooklyn’s life is filled with hours of notes, videos, and homework; all the result of school. She loves acrylic painting, writing, singing and dancing; she even wanted to be a singer when she was a child! She goes to the gym regularly for fun as well as living a healthy life. Brooklyn has a fat cat named Hails. Seven, with his seven toe beans, and family to surround her. She enjoys quiet nights with music and her latest book.
Brooklyn is a Capricorn, who are known for their dedication and integrity.
Maryam
Maryam finished high school back is Tehran, then packed her bags and headed to Canada to chase her passion for art– and finally study what she’s always dreamed of (no more excuses!)
Maryam is a dedicated cat mom with an adventurous spirit. She loves discovering new experiences and believes that curiosity makes life a little more magical.
This free-spirited soul has that classic Sagittarius vibe– adventurous, optimistic, and always ready to explore new things with plenty of curiosity and a big smile.
Amelia
Amelia is a recent graduate from the University of Western Ontario and is currently working at Zazou as a Marketing Specialist and Analyst. She loves working with people and helping promote and deliver a company’s mission and values.
Amelia is a granola girl through and through and cannot spend a single day inside. She must always be hiking or biking up a mountain, climbing a rock face, or running through flooded woods. When not eating food that can fit in a 5L backpack, she enjoys cooking at home and experimenting with different cuisines. As far as a hyperactive and restless person goes, Amelia is either whizzing around the forest or the kitchen, but can also relax by painting or reading a good crime book.
Amelia is a May Gemini and discovered that hyperactivity and lots of hobbies are a part of the classic Gemini lifestyle (very fitting). She also finds her Gemini behaviour in her curiosity and her search for always wanting to learn more about different topics.
Amelia has always had her hair cut at Zazou and is excited to have joined the team!
Chloe
While new to the workforce, Chloe has always had a passion for hair care and she loves to make connections with people!
She is always happy to make new friends and loves to spend her free time hiking the trails with her dog.
Alison
Alison was born and raised in North Vancouver and started working at Zazou in 2024 as concierge. She loves and swears by using the Davines Oi Oil every morning to keep her hair smooth and Frizz-free.
She is naturally a homebody but loves to try new things and explore different places around Vancouver. Alison enjoys baking, spending time outdoors, listening to music and hanging out with her friends and family. One of her favorite activities is going out to buy bubble tea and go shopping.
Alison is a Virgo and she is loyal, observant, caring and a little bit of a perfectionist.
Cassidy
Cassidy began as an apprentice at Zazou after completing the Professional Barber Program at Blanche MacDonald. Though she appreciated the creativity and connection the work offered, she ultimately realized it wasn’t the right long-term path for her. This insight led her to explore more opportunities with Zazou, which are more aligned with her evolving interests and goals.
As someone with very long highlighted hair, Cassidy cannot live with La bios Colour Protection Conditioning Fluid, the Structure Repair Hydrating Drops. As for skin care, she swears buy the Hyaluronic toner From La Biosthetique.
Cassidy is a Gemini Sun, Aquarius Moon, and Capricorn rising. She is curious, adaptable, and a little bit silly.
Nik
Nik has a knack for creative outlets! Nik teaches contemporary ballet, hip-hop, plays in a rock band, writes poetry, is a certified nail technician, and crochets–if you see any crochet decor at Zazou, that’s Nik! They also have a diploma in filmmaking and have no idea what to do with it.
Some products that Nik can’t live without are Evo’s ‘liquid rollers’ to moisturize and hold curls, and La Biosthetique’s ‘weightless conditioning oil’ for the best-smelling, shiniest hair!
Born at 11:11, blessed by the angels of course, Nik is a textbook December Capricorn. There’s nothing better than planning out every day down to the minute, and checking something off a to-do list. Nik should probably learn how to take a day off.
