Jose
Jose started his career in the beauty industry in 2010 going to school at the Aveda Institute and then after the Aveda Academy. He worked at Aveda as a front desk and hairstylist and unfortunately had to leave hair due to carpal tunnel syndrome. Jose managed a beauty supply store in downtown Vancouver. Shortly after Jose joined the Dyson hair care team promoting and rolling out Dysons new haircare products. Jose educating staff and customers on how to use and sell Dyson Hair care line. Jose now has come full circle back to the salon environment and excited for the next chapter.

Jose is an adventurous person who loves to dance, watch movies and enjoy life. At a young age became fascinated with fashion hair and creating new adventurous looks.
Jose is a true Sagittarius to the T. He loves spontaneity, is loyal, will be there for his friends, and will always stand for the right cause.
Rebecca
Rebecca is a cat mom who loves creating all types of art and getting involved in all aspects of the beauty industry.
Rebecca loves using Haze Powder from Evo because it gives her a matte texture and volume without leaving any residue.
She is an Aquarius! Rebecca is very crafty and expressive.
Mari
Mari enjoys going for walks in nature and any self care activity like yoga, meditation and spending time with their beautiful black cat. In their spare time you can find them out in their backyard reading a book or watching a TV show curled up on the couch.
Mari enjoys using the Lipokerine A Shampoo from La Biosthetique to help balance oils in their scalp.

Daphne
Daphne is planning on going to school for hospitality management! She has always enjoyed customer service and is looking to have a great career serving others. When she is not working you can find her playing guitar or piano. She also loves Breka Bakery and Cafe! As a self diagnosed surf bum she is always down for a trip to Tofino to catch some waves. Daphne has long luscious locks she keep maintained with the Long Hair line form La Biosthetique. Specifically the Detangler Spray!
Daphne says she is “unfortunately a Scorpio” but that is only because of other peoples negative connotations to the sign.
Cassidy
Cassidy graduated in 2023 from Blanche MacDonald’s full time professional barbering program and is extremely excited to continue her education at Zazou’s Academy!
Her hairdressing philosophy is that hair has no gender!
Cassidy loves colouring hair! Especially vivid colours and blondes.
Cassidy has long hair and therefore can’t live without La Biosthetique’s Long Hair Line.
Cassidy is definitely a bit of an introvert who loves spending her free time reading, playing video games especially Stardew Valley and hanging out with her friends.
Cassidy is a proud Gemini, she is communicative, curious, and adaptable.
Nik
Nicole (aka Nik) has a knack for creative outlets. Armed with a diploma in motion picture arts, and a nail technician’s certification, they plan to bring vibrancy and inspiration into the world!
Nik will partake in just about any creative hobby, whether it be painting, dancing, writing, or shattering eardrums with their electric guitar. Legend has it, that if you hear a series of obnoxious chords, Nik is probably right around the corner.
Born at 11:11, blessed by the angels of course, Nik is a December Capricorn, Cancer moon, and a Scorpio rising. Fiercely loyal, ambitious, and reliable, there is nothing this “fish-goat” can’t handle.
Cami
Since Camille can remember she has known she was born to be a hairstylist. There has been no fooling around with this dream. Before graduating from highschool she began working in a hair salon. Now she is attending Blanche MacDonald hair school to get started on her career as soon as possible while working at Zazou to eventually attend the Advanced Apprenticeship Program.
Camille is born and raised in North Vancouver and is excited to bring her passion for hair to her beautiful community.
Camille’s favourite produce is The Shag Texture Paste from Evo Hair as it helps give texture to her own hairstyle.
Camille is a Libra. She likes making peace between others and is an extrovert.
Silvi
Hola! This is Silvi! She is a student who has recently moved to Vancouver from Chile! She truly loves all outdoor activities. She loves cooking, reading, dancing & is a big fan of karaoke nights, spending time with friends and going out!
What’s a good life without a good book in your hands and a lemonade. This is my happy place.
