Kerry first started her journey in the industry at the Aveda Institiue in 2015 where she recieved her Hairstyling Diploma. Since then she completed her Apprenticeship here in the Academy, and now continues to take many advanced education classes to keep her skills relevant. She believes in sharing knowledge and has taken what shes learned and teaches some classes in the Academy.
Kerry’s favourite services to perform are cutting and colouring, but more specifically, she loves to create personalized haircuts and colours that fit her guests needs and lifestyle that don’t require too much maintenance or upkeep. She really enjoys textured haircuts such as bobs and pixies. She loves a good blonding session and foiling.
Kerry is a dog mom to the cutest little dog named Spice who makes being home so much better. In her spare time, Kerry enjoys being creative by sewing, cooking, and playing music.

She began her career in 2005 and refined her skills in Toronto, specializing in all hair textures from 2B to 4C. From salon ownership to styling for fashion shows and TV sets, Kahlae has built a diverse and inspiring career—including being the personal stylist for Canadian music icon Simone Denny.
Now based in North Vancouver, Kahlae continues to share her expertise not only with clients but also as a casual educator in the Hair Design, Skin & Body Therapy Department at Vancouver Community College. She is also a certified La Biosthétique Colour Expert, bringing an elevated approach to hair colour that prioritizes both beauty and hair health.
Her warm approach, deep knowledge of all hair textures, and commitment to excellence make her a go-to for healthy, beautiful hair.
When she’s not in the salon or teaching, Kahlae is spending time with her husband and two daughters—usually at the park or trying out a new recipe!

Jessica has always been her friends and families go to hair stylist. In 2021 she decided to turn her passion into a career. After graduating from Blanche Macdonald, she is both eager and excited to further her education and skills as a part of the Zazou team.
Full circle moment here, Jessica didn’t have her first haircut until she was in 7th grade. She was so excited to finally cut her hair! Unfortunately, it was not the best experience with her thick, curly haircut to one length. This mundane experience has shaped everything Jessica wishes to achieve as a hairdresser. Her goal is to maximize what your hair can do for you! Attain your styling dreams, while providing education and leaving everyone with a positive experience.
It is amazing the effects changing your hair can have, that is why styling is Jessica’s favourite part of every service. She is all about the end result, where you look and feel great.

Karen started her career out of Montreal where she was born and raised. Starting out with early inspiration with music, art, and pop culture. She started to travel between Toronto, New York City, and her hometown in Montreal to further study with Vidal Sassoon and other colour Academy’s and Fashion Week Seasons. She is passionate about extending confidence through the accessory of hair. Making you look and feel your best, through every mood and every season.
Karen enjoys marrying colour and cut together. My favourite haircut would have to be the bob. It has stood the test of time for over a century and has so many beautiful variations. She doesn’t know if the industry would be the same without it’s pillar!
Karen is a music enthusiast! She loves to indulge into her hobbies that bring her joy. She loves writing, collage art, spending quality time with her dog and in nature. She also loves doing yoga, swimming, watching old award shows, and runway shows online.

Laura started in 2010 in Germany by Ihr Friseur Erich Keinz as a stylist. Later in 2014 she trained to be a make up artist and wigmaker, her focus was always about hair. Over the last 13 years, she always worked in different hair salons, Netflix movies, and in Operas too! In 2020, she completed the Hair Masterclass in Germany and moved to Vancouver in 2022.
I love all kind of haircuts! From curly, long layers, short, and men’s cuts; I also like doing all kinds of highlights.
Laura’s favourite products are the Love Curl line from Davines.
Laura loves to be around nature and especially hiking and camping. At home, she loves to paint or watch all of the Harry Potter films. There are no limits in this world!

Jennilyn finished her professional hairstyling program at Blanche Macdonald Centre in October 2022. She did her work experience at Zazou and later decided to continue at Zazou. She also has a BA in Communication in the Philippines.
Her hair philosophy is that hair completes the overall look of an individual. It can also be a statement or an expression. Hairdressing is all about shape, texture, and form that put together to complete the look of a person.

Jennilyn loves vibrant colours and hair bleaching, that is why she loves the PCC Treatment because of how it restores the integrity of the hair.

Sequoia is a dedicated hairstylist at Zazou, where her journey began on the concierge team while completing the hair program at Blanche McDonald. After finishing her training, she continued to complete the Advanced Apprenticeship Program at Zazou, further developing her skills and deepening her passion for the craft.
From a young age, Sequoia was captivated by the world of hair, inspired by watching her grandmother enjoy salon visits and her step-grandmother owning a salon. Although she worked in the restaurant industry for almost 10 years, it wasn’t until later that she realized her true calling was in hairstyling.
Her favorite part of being a hairstylist is helping clients on their hair health journey. Having been on her own hair health journey for the past two years, she is passionate about guiding her clients to achieve their healthiest hair possible, both in the salon and through personalized at-home routines.
Outside of the salon, Sequoia loves to travel and spend quality time with her husband and their two dogs. She’s passionate about staying active, whether it’s through strength training, Pilates, or enjoying long walks with her dogs. In addition, Sequoia has a deep love for cooking and enjoys experimenting in the kitchen, creating everything from savory dishes to sweet treats.

Mariia started her career in 2005 as a hairstylist assistant. Two years later she became a full time hairstylist in one the busiest hair salons in Odesa, Ukraine. Along the way Mariia has expended her professional qualifications by completing the training courses provided by Vidal Sasoon, Saco, Pivot Point, Longeras. In the course of her job Mariia has used the wide variety of products such as L’Oréal, Revlon, Framesi.
Mariia’s always strives to ease up the home aftercare process for her clients. She tailors and customizes her approach specifically for the customer’s needs and hair type.
Mariia is passionate about highlighting, Air Touch and Open Air techniques. Those regarded by many as her key strengths.
Additionally, Mariia managed to master the fading cut that resulted in the huge male client base.
Mariia and her husband are raising a wonderful son Maksym. They adore outdoor activities such as kitesurfing, wakeboarding and snowboarding.

Lana began her hairstyling career in 2009 in the Ukraine studying at a Sassoon-based academy! She has been training and learning ever since, taking full advantage of each opportunity that comes her way. In her career up to this point, Lana has worked with Harper’s Bazaar Magazine for Ukrainian editorial photoshoots & fashion weeks. She was also a part of the Toni & Guy Toronto team for 4 years before eventually settling down in Vancouver!

Since Camille can remember she has known she was born to be a hairstylist. There has been no fooling around with this dream. Before graduating from highschool she began working in a hair salon.
