The beauty industry creates 877lbs of waste per minute. Green Circle’s mission is to change that and Zazou is with them.
Founded in 2009 by CEO Shane Price he knew there had to be a better way to tackle the beauty industry’s waste. Canadian founded with its first partners in Toronto Green Circle now has the worlds largest green salon directory!
Where does the waste go?
Hair clippings – Get composted properly and turned into bio-composite plastic for recycle bins
Excess hair colour – Zazou uses a program called Vish to weigh out colour used so there is less waste involved as well as less of a charge to our clients. The excess colour taken out of brushes and bowls is turned into clean energy or separated into water and oil and the water is cleaned and cycled back through.
