Pink Shirt Day

Pink Shirt Day builds awareness around bullying and raise funds to help children who are effected by this issue. Zazou showed our support by breaking our white, grey, black trend and pulling our pink shirts from the back of our closets.

This day started when two grade 12 students (David Shepherd and Travis Price) decided they had to take action against a Grade 9 student being bullied for wearing a pink shirt. They purchased pink shirts for their school mates and began to hand them out in solidarity with the student being bullied. By the end of the week, the majority of the school was wearing pink shirts to support the cause and show that bullying is not tolerated.
