We are completely honoured to be one of Top 5 Finalists across Canada in this year’s Contessa National Hairstylist Awards 2021 for the John Steinberg Award for Community Service. Winners will be announced during the November 8th Virtual Awards Gala!
Zazou Salon & Academy is a Semi-Finalist for the John Steinberg Award for Community Service.
This award is given to the professional or salon whose single charity event created the greatest impact in their neighbourhood between August 6, 2019 and September 9, 2020. The Charity Event that Zazou has been nominated for was our Colour with Care week where Team Zazou collectively raised $2,600 towards Doctors Without Borders. Every tube of colour that is purchased from La Biosthetique Canada has a portion donated to the organization. Team Zazou all came together to donate tips/portions of services done during the week of October 21st – 27th, 2019 to Colour with Care. We also were able to donate 10% of all retail sales from that week, matched all donations given by our wonderful community, and for every colour service done that week provided the equivalent to 4 malaria diagnostic kits. In total we did 110 colour services, which was equivalent 440 malaria kits. With the support of La Biosthetique, our Team and our community we wouldn’t have been able to do this!
