Cancellation and No-Show Policy Update

This has always been a part of Zazou’s cancellation policy but we wanted to create this reminder around this time of year as we know your lives get busier. We understand emergencies happen, so please contact us if this is the case and we will be happy to accommodate. The only changes we are making at this time is to our online booking service.

Beginning on October 15th, 2023, our online booking service will require a credit card to complete the booking. If we do not receive 24 hours cancellation notice, you will be charged 50% of the cost of your scheduled service in order to compensate for the service provider’s time in order to book any future appointments. This will also apply if you do not show up for your scheduled appointment.

At all times of the year Zazou operates on a tight schedule, with appointments booked back-to-back. When a client doesn’t show up, arrives late or cancels last minute, it can disrupt the entire schedule for the day. This can inconvenience other clients and the stylist. This policy will help us to reduce the risk of you having to wait for your appointment or missing an open opportunity to get your hair done. Our hairstylists often have busy schedules and depend on their appointments for their livelihood. When a client doesn’t show up, it results in a loss of income for the stylist. Regular hair maintenance and appointments are essential for achieving and maintaining a desired look or hairstyle. Skipping appointments can lead to uneven growth, faded color, or other issues that may require more extensive and costly treatments later on.
