Want to acheive those pouty Jolie lips, follow these steps.

1. Start with a lip plumper and apply only to the lip or area that needs to be fuller.

2. Draw a line using a nude lip liner slightly above your natural top lip and directly along your bottom lip.

3. Color in your entire lip with the lip liner, staying within the new outline.

4. Apply a nude or neutral lipstick over the lip liner, working from the center of your lip out.

5. Apply lip gloss to the center of your top and bottom lip.

Showoff 2012 Celebrates BC Beauty Industry & Raises $6032 for Beauty Nights

Beauty Night is a non-profit organization that  builds self esteem and changes lives of women and youth living in poverty through 3 streams of programming: wellness, life skills development and makeovers.

Vancouverites were in for a treat on Monday, March 26th. 12 Salons, 5 minute performances on stage at the Vogue theatre. This celebration of BC’s beauty industry was produced by the Beauty Council. CityTV’s Dawn Chubei hosted the spectacular show.

It was an incredible experience to be part of. The sheer excitement that pulsed through the air heightened the night. The creativity from each salon was truly spectacular. For Beauty Night, it was wonderful to reconnect with people in the industry that have helped us get to where we are today. It was an honour and inspiration to see each salon have the opportunity to shine on stage. We were honoured to be the charity of choice for Showoff 2012. They raised over $6000 for our cause.

Over the last 4 years we’ve received some fantastic and invaluable feedback from you, our valued and loved Guests. These are some of the improvements you’ve suggested for Zazou

• Separate the Pedicure and Manicure area from the Salon for a more relaxing, private and intimate experience 
• Get rid of the bench seating in the Pedicure area
• Zazou’s strength is hair, expand those services in both Salon and Spa
• Include more pre & post wax aids in the retail line
• Create a larger salon space
• Offer spray tanning
• Offer gel nails
• Display Jane Iredale Minerals more prominently
